Leduc County is looking for an experienced and highly motivated casual Recreation Program Leader to join our team. Reporting to the Community Program Coordinator, this exciting opportunity assists with running recreation programs, events and day camps. As a member of the Parks and Recreation team, the Recreation Program Leader supports the achievement of the department’s operational deliverables.

Enrollment or completion of high school diploma, Standard First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) Level C certification (or willing to obtain), and a criminal records check – vulnerable sector.
Child Care or babysitting certificate or recreation volunteer experience and a valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s license are assets.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of $ $18.49 - $23.79. This opportunity works variable hours as they assist with evening programs, school holiday programs and other special events, with the possibly of some extended hours to help meet operational requirements. Lots of the evenings and weekend programming will be held in New Sarepta. There will be approximately four to six opportunities per month.
The office is located at 101-1101 5 St. Nisku, AB.
