Leduc County is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Human Resources Coordinator to join our team. Reporting to the Manager – Human Resources, Health and Safety, this exciting opportunity provides coordination of, and assistance to, human resources processes and projects, and is accountable for the recruitment and onboarding of all employees. Through effectively managing priorities and achieving objectives, the coordinator is the primary contact for human resources assistance for assigned client groups.

A post-secondary diploma in human resources and five years of experience in human resources, demonstrating increased complexity and responsibility. Experience in employee and labour relations, interpersonal communications, coaching, conflict management and team effectiveness and knowledge of recruitment and retention practices.
Charted Professionals in Human Resources (CPHR) designation is preferred and considered an asset. Familiarity with municipal operations, public sector governance, and knowledge of rural communities is another asset.

We offer a competitive annual salary of between $84,889 - $106,111 municipal pension plan, three-weeks vacation allocation, and an employer-paid comprehensive benefits package.
The opportunity is permanent full time and is 35 hours per week scheduled Monday to Friday, with some extended hours to meet operational requirements. The office is located at 101-1101 5 St. Nisku, AB.
