Leduc County is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Clubroot Inspector to join our team. Reporting to the Manager – Agricultural Services, this exciting opportunity inspects agricultural (canola) fields to prevent the spread of clubroot. As a member of the Agricultural Services team, the Clubroot Inspector contributes to the achievement of the department’s operational deliverables.

You are passionate about crops and want to do your part to help prevent the spread of clubroot disease. You enjoy working outside and can handle some moderate physical effort out in the field when needed. You are proficient with Microsoft Office tools, databases and spreadsheet applications.

A high school diploma, a Class 5 Alberta driver’s license and strong knowledge of clubroot, its symptoms, and its detection. A diploma in agriculture or a related filed is desired.
An agricultural background, a pesticide applicator license and knowledge of common weeds in the region.

We offer a competitive hourly salary of between $21.14 and $26.42, This opportunity is seasonal full-time and is 40 hours per week scheduled Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. with the possibly of some extended hours to meet operational requirements.
The office is located at 101-1101 5 St. Nisku, AB.
